Christopher Hewitt is the Family Medicine provider at our Clayton, NC location. He has worked in primary care as a Nurse Practitioner for more than eight years. Before that, he worked as a Registered Nurse and as a paramedic.
Over the course of his career, Christopher has cared for many kinds of patients, including children, families, and older adults. His experience includes work as a staff nurse providing acute psychiatric care and as a Registered Nurse in the Asthma, Allergy, and Immunology department at the University of Virginia.
Christopher has associate degrees in the nursing and paramedic fields and in 2013 graduated cum laude with a Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Eastern Mennonite University in Virginia. Two years later, he graduated summa cum laude with a master’s degree from South University.
A critical thinker and multi-tasker with strong clinical judgement, Christopher prides himself as a dependable part of our clinic team. He aims to work collaboratively and compassionately with patients and their families to help them reach their health goals.
Christopher is married with two sons. His family moved to North Carolina from Virginia in 2023. When he’s not at the clinic, Christopher and his family enjoy camping, fishing, boating, baseball, martial arts. They are also members of the Church of Christ in Fuquay-Varina.
