2014 Immunizations for Children Ages 0-6 [INFOGRAPHIC]

Each year, the U.S. Advisory Committee on Immunization Practices (ACIP), the American Academy of Pediatrics, and the American Academy of Family Physicians recommend a childhood immunization schedule. The infographic below provides a timeline for all vaccines your child should receive from birth through 6 years of age. 

By following the schedule, you can ensure that your child is protected from diseases such as hepatitis B, chicken pox (varicella), measles, mumps, and whooping cough (pertussis), among others. 

Does My Child Really Need All of These Vaccines?

While many of the diseases on this list are less prevalent than they used to be, it is still important that you get your child vaccinated. The bacteria and viruses that cause these diseases are still in our environment and your child can become infected if he or she is not properly protected.
