FastMed Welcomes Tom Hathaway as Chief Operating Officer

 

Raleigh, NC – FastMed, a leading provider of high-quality, convenient, and affordable healthcare in North Carolina, has appointed Tom Hathaway as its new Chief Operating Officer.

In his role as Chief Operating Officer, Hathaway will be responsible for leading FastMed’s operations, with a focus on solidifying the organization’s position as a leader in high-quality, convenient, and affordable healthcare in North Carolina. His strategic insights and industry expertise are expected to play a pivotal role in helping FastMed achieve its organizational goals efficiently and effectively.

 

Prior to joining FastMed, Hathaway served as President of Holy Cross Medical Group and Market Leader for Holy Cross Health in Fort Lauderdale. During his tenure, he demonstrated exceptional leadership by overseeing various aspects of medical group accountability, including P&L management, strategic planning, physician recruitment, practice operations, and financial management. Hathaway holds an MBA from New York University and a BA in psychology from Fairfield University.

 

In 2024, a North Carolina-based health insurance company acquired all North Carolina FastMed locations. This enables two North Carolina companies with shared values to work together to fortify healthcare capacity in the state, so North Carolinians have access to critical points of quality, affordable care.
